Commission by Helmut Marko for the entrance hall of his Graz hotel, advised by Elevate festival. The artwork explores the tessellation using two size rhombi and resulting in a free form shape, expanding over the wall facing the entrance and visible from the outside.

A kinetic ceiling based on a tessellated surface, subdivided into 192 triangles, their movement uses smart memory alloys to pull up the flaps and gravity for downwards motion, balancine control with randomness.

the installation is based on the deciphering of the endless and random number string of Pi. The scrolling words allowing us to get a glimpse on what this universal number may tell us.
