Each page of the book shows the random combinations that are generated during a day according to a certain time set, iterations. The book with its 365 pages thus forms a year of combinations, while the 100 books form a corpus for a century; a century next to the billion possible ones.

Theoretically, if the letters of the alphabet are mixed up randomly, it can take an instant or an infinite amount of time to create a 12-letter word. The system is initialized at all times: Will a word ever emerge during lifetime? What word will it be? Consequently, the work relates prediction, chance, and randomness.

The fragments of letters form a concrete poetry, composed according to the moment they were spat out by the eponymous installation, it's machinery. They trace the tiny accidents and create their own reading, considering this notation as a visual object of failure, independent of a primary, literal meaning.
